india is truly an incredible place, but it can also be an assault on your senses. that's why chef jas dosanj has been tailoring group tours to india for the past two years.
partnering with travelxs, a group from the okanagan will be exploring the south of india for 15 days from february 2018. jas has planned the whole culinary itinerary, which takes you to goa, kerala and mumbai.
From visiting a spice plantation and markets, to relaxing on a beach in Goa and learning regional cooking, to cruising down the Backwaters of Alleppey, watching a Kathakali dance performance in Kerala, feasting on the street food in Mumbai and learning about Bollywood and the history behind Mumbai. The tour combines a mix of home cooked meals by local families, eating at carefully selected hotels and smaller independent restaurants, packed with locals. Plus, you can get hands-on with a cooking class in Kerala and experience the Festival of Colour or Holi on the streets of Goa.
